In this post, I share with you the “SECRET” to staying laser focused. This is how I run 8 companies simultaneously while also remaining a full time dad & husband. Stacey asks, how do you get so laser focused? That’s a good question!
I’d say I am. I am laser focused on one target right now because today I’ve already missed 99 targets. That’s why I’m so laser focused because I spent my days in practice. I don’t spend my days in thought. I don’t spend my days in reflection. I don’t spend my days and what if? What if I should have?
I spent my days bumping my knees, smashing my hands. Bleeding, cutting, tripping. Also running, winning, jumping, and succeeding. And in that practice, and I mean the practice. And Tyler will tell you the amount of zoom calls I get on video messages. I send my messages, I respond to content, I create.
I put in more practice into marketing than Tom Brady puts into playing football. And so my focus doesn’t come from being focused, like choosing to be focused. My focus comes from putting in the licks and having a visceral physical experience of what works and what doesn’t work. To align my body to continue to focus on what’s going to move the needle forward, which moves my needle forward, my family’s needle forward, my team’s needle forward, and your needle forward.
And so when you see me do this video today, the amount of prep work that I put into my day before this moment is what dictates my ability to be focused and on cue with you. So for me, the reason I teach you guys the umbrella or the lighthouse or that container, right, is because I know that as long as everything that I’m practicing every day has to do with business, relationships, marketing, or serving you.
I’m learning and growing. Now, if I spent my day putting in practice of like how to be a personal trainer online or how to be a food blogger, again, I wouldn’t be focused. I would be creating distraction and self sabotage, right? And so the focus comes from knowing my lane and knowing my container. And then once that container exists, like the bumpers on a bumper alley, I can smash up against the sides as hard as I want, but I’m still guaranteed to hit a pin.
Right? And that’s where the containers come into play. And so being laser focused is if you have a physical products company, you pick one product. If you have a digital product company, you pick one and you obsess. And I mean, you obsess about every granular detail of that entire journey, starting from the offer backwards, which I’m teaching in this new course.

If I have a paid offer, my lead magnet should be the thing that creates the launch belief or the critical mass belief that they aren’t ready to buy my product.
But if they complete this lead magnet, they go from before to after, which then makes them a prime candidate for my product. Knowing that is the end state. Then I have my lead magnet. Well, what’s my content? Well, if I’m covering this one thing, this one protocol, this one method, like I said, lead magnets are for processes and structure.
This process and structure solves a lot of problems. So what’s my content? What are the 50 mistakes that people make by not doing this. And then that’s my content. So if I take each mistake, video one, video two, video three through video 50 I’m like 99% of entrepreneurs fail because they don’t do email marketing, right?
But here’s the secret. Email marketing is easy. The belief you had was this. But these are the consequences of you doing that. You lose customers. You have to buy more. Your ad costs go up because you’re not nurturing the relationships with your customers. Here’s the new belief. Now that you know how to do this new belief, if you want the next step, come get this lead magnet, and then I do that 49 times.
Now, all my content is super clear and it all leads to one place, which is the destination of a funnel. Duh. Which is my peer. And as soon as you get your ass on my peer, you either give me your email address to go through that lead magnet to then give me your credit card, or you go on my peer and you’re like, screw the lead magnet.
I just want to give you my credit card right now. But all the content is overcoming objections or taking people from before States after States, very methodically done, all with the same goal in mind, right? So why do I have a podcast? Why do we have the Facebook group? Because every single one of you belongs in my mastermind.
And I want every single one of you in my mastermind, right? So I could go out, spend my days trying to find people that have the money and be like, Oh, I want you to come be my friend and I want you to come into my mastermind and and all the bullshit that I see out there. Right? Or. I could spend my time creating content that actually empowers and helps every single one of you be better in business and better in marketing and better in customer journeys and better in paid media and better in social media so that you win and get momentum in your life.
And then you actually. When by scaling your company or making more money or having a bigger impact, and then you’re like, I love to be in, rather than me convincing people, I’m creating content to help you guys overcome beliefs, overcome challenges, and create results so that you want to become enrolled into my mastermind, which means you can then help us change the world.Everything works backwards.
